5th Grade Hands-On Equations

The fifth graders are solving algebra equations using pawns and number cubes.  The pawns represent the variable and they place them on a balance which helps them remember to keep each side of the equation equal. They are doing an excellent job understanding some pretty advanced concepts! :)
