4th Grade Trip to the Truman Museum

We first watched a video at the museum to learn some background information about Harry S Truman. Then we took a guided tour and learned about his life. We learned how he was raised, the many jobs he had, and how he became President of the United States. He made some pretty big decisions when he was president related to the atomic bombs, Cold War, WWII, and the Korean War. We also saw his gravesite and library.
